Andrew Rolfe Aids The Ubuntu Fund In Raising Funds

When the management of the Ubuntu Fund sat down to plan about their budget, they deemed it fit to raise more finances for purposes of meeting the growing needs of the high number of disadvantaged children. To this end, they planned for a gala dinner in London. The occasion was well attended. Andrew Rolfe was mandated with the duty of ensuring that all the 300 guests are provided with food and enjoy a variety of songs from a leading Xhosa choir. He accomplished this mission given that the event lasted the entire night.

When planning for the event, they were optimistic that they would manage to raise over $972,960. While counting the raised funds, they found that they had exceeded their target by a good margin. The planners of the event posited that the funds would be used to expand the Ubuntu Fund’s school campus. Within the compound of the Port Elizabeth-based school, they would develop a modern pediatric clinic. In addition, they would accept more disadvantaged children from the society. The leadership of the Ubuntu Fund developed a noble program that takes care of the needy children from when they are young until when they begin their careers.

Some of the most notable people who attended the event are Jacob Lief and Sinesipho Rabidyani. Jacob, who is the CEO of the Ubuntu Fund, posited that children need everything to grow. He founded the corporation in 1999 in partnership with Malizole Gwaxula. Sinesipho contended that owing to her father’s drinking problem, they could not find peace at home. This way, she had to put more efforts in her studies. When the results of her final examination came out, Sinesipho ranked among the top performer. This way, she won the Fund’s scholarship that came with psychosocial support and a mentorship program.
